A child’s future is influenced by the care he/she receives when young. Good experiences in childhood are carried forward into adult life. Children benefit in terms of their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development from spending some time with their peers and with adults who are not part of the immediate family. A child’s development will depend on the quality of substitute care provided if you the parent are absent from the home during the day.
