My training as a herbalist was a rigorous four years of training which equips me to treat almost all conditions that patients might take to their doctor. I can be extremely versatile in providing treatments given my expertise in massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and other therapies. I also use many techniques with patients to assist relaxation such as meditative and visualisation techniques.
Consultations: A herbal consultation involves spending one hour discussing the health problem with you, followed by a clinical examination, a stethoscope and tongue reading form part of this examination. Herbs are then prescribed which will not only treat the symptoms but also the underlying condition. The herbal prescription may include a variety of sustainable sourced herbs.
Products: At The Dandelion Clinic a variety of simple medicines such as dried herbal teas, tinctures and creams to treat various complaints are available. We can also source reputable, home-made colloidal silver.
Workshops & Training: I have a lot of experience in providing training and workshops to people about herbs and complementary therapies. I grow a lot of my own herbs and do herbal group walks to educate the public about their benefits.
