PlugTest NI is a local company that carries out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) for a wide range of Clients across Mid-Ulster. Our goal as a PAT company is to provide businesses, organisations and Landlords/Letting Agents with a highly cost-effective solution to achieve compliance with the ‘Electricity at Work Regulations’.
Reports & Certification
On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate and a detailed report that provides information on each individual item tested. All items that pass the inspection & testing will be labelled with a safety sticker and a unique number that helps us keep track of all portable appliances in your company.
The Regulations
As an employer, landlord or letting agent, you have a duty of care to comply with the necessary ‘Electricity at Work’ regulations. These regulations state that you are responsible by law, for the prevention of any harm coming to employees, tenants and customers when using electrical equipment provided by you or your organisation/business. Many businesses are unaware of the Insurance implications of not having an up to date Portable Appliance Test programme in place.
