When Barbara sketches her black & white drawings she tends to use ink to create that special affect for the detailed drawing. Although both ink and watercolours are used when she creates a painting.
Barbara specialises in buildings (often old listed ones) churches with a significant history attached, Bridges with interesting stonework and water or riverbanks. Barbara also enjoys painting local seascapes and landscapes.
