| Description: | Cryogenic Rare Gas Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1964 in the state of New Jersey. The company’s original purpose was to import and re-sell rare gases; krypton, neon, and xenon. These gases are obtained by cryogenically liquefying air in very large air separation plants and were, at the time, primarily being produced in Europe. CRGL acted as a distributor and re-packager for the European gas companies. The major use for Krypton and Xenon during the 1960’s and 1970’s was energy efficient lighting. |
