| Description: | We Denis and Caolán Mc Laughlin founded BeatRoots Promotions in February 2006, are local Derry Musicians. We started off by organising events for our band and used the name BeatRoots Promotions as organisers of the event. This led to us getting the job of organising events for the Derry Feile in order to promote local and national talent, which we now continue to take part in every year. In February 2007 we decided to bite the bullet and work on this full time. As no regular comedy nights existed in Derry the first project that we worked on was to bring a regular comedy night to the city. This we like to call The Roll Over Laughing Comedy Club, which includes a band also. This takes place in Sandino’s Café-Bar and is currently still continuing.
